if you just said trouble and didn't even explain what trouble that could mean anything from cheating to debt and stalker situations and flirting with others. But no trouble is reason to reject someone you love if you love them. And why didn't your now ex know about the trouble sooner. Usually couples talk with each other. Usually people reject proposals cause they aren't ready for such commitment and they realise it or they realise they don't actually like the person and things are getting serious but they were so comfortable together nobody saw it. But trouble no I would ignore you too. Don't ask for his help when you hid it for him before.
