Guy's Behavior

Does he like me? Or did his friends tell him?

There is this guy that I really like but I don't know if he feels the same way. There are both signs that he does and doesn’t, him and his friends make it really obvious that he does for example they whenever I’m around they like nudge him, or push him etc. But he keeps like looking at me and we haven’t spoken to each other ( we are both scared to) but there has been times were we have been so close to talking. But his friends like talk about me in their class, look and stare at me in class and at breaks his friends make it really obvious that he does. But most recently they whenever I am around they say to him “oh look it’s your gf” and one time we were walking next to each other and when they said it he blushed then run away. But I am also confused about is that his friends came up to me yesterday asking if I liked him and I shrugged my shoulders and I told my friend and her boyfriend was there and went up and told them that I do and one of them responded with that they were going to tell him but I don't know if he has or not? And whether or not he does like me back?
