WWhy did my cat love me for 2-3 years when ihated her?

cats are very affectionate if you don't get on their bad side you'll be just fine

I never got along with the family cat back in the day, she used to pee my room but no one elses sometimes. I would always scream at her, and she would do things to annoy me.

But one day I was particularly sad and I was in the basement moping about alone at like 3AM, and she came out of no where and started rubbing up against me and purring. She had somehow sensed I was sad and even after all the mean stuff I did to her she was nice to me. and from that day on we become friends.

Cats are simple creatures, you hated it but you gave it food and shelter and some attention I assume. Of course it would love you. It's good that you came around to the cat lovers side

I don't know your cat, but odds are probably yeah. I'm a cat person not a dog person, cats are better at giving and taking space and they're very affectionate in their own way compared to dogs which are very outwardly affectionate and just love to be right up on you all the time.

I think cats are more playful. Mine is very affectionate actually but is still a cat. I love dogs i never had but i want one. You have a kittycat?

I do not anymore, I've had both dogs and cats growing up but right now I live alone and I'm traveling around the country for seasonal work and I'm just not in a place to have a pet and be able to give it proper care

Yes and no, I'm in Michigan which is very different than my home state of Iowa. The forests are beautiful, the lakes are beautiful, the people are all very nice, but I don't really know anybody here so a lot of the social activities that you would do while traveling are just something I can't do. Can't exactly rock up to a stranger and invite them to go kayaking

I get that, people don't really pay Iowa any attention. It's majorly agricultural, corn, soybeans, pigs, and eggs are four of the things that Iowa is the top in in national production so that's what most the state is about. That also kind of kills tourism, because if you're not from a rural area you don't really know how to vibe with a rural area the same way that if I go to a big city I'm just bored because I don't know what to do or where to go. But hey, if you ever have money or if you work in an industry that you could move to a couple of different cities in a couple of different states, it's definitely worth doing while you're young. Meet new people and maybe you'll find a different city just has a much better culture for you

I would love to... I dont really even wanna stay in a big city. Are people welcoming over there?

In America? It depends entirely on where you go and how willing you are to invest yourself in the culture. I would say a lot of the more urban areas are more welcoming to people from other cultures because they have more experience with them, it can get a little dicey in the rural areas but if you're willing to do new things and participate in the culture in a rural area people can be very welcoming. Americans are kind of close-minded that way, if it's not familiar they don't like it.

I have noticed people tend to be very judgmental yep... Can a poor person go out there?

To America? Yeah of course, it'll just make things harder for ya though. Depending on your education or career plan, being poor in America will get you killed. Mostly by the bad health care
