Guy's Behavior

Guys, what are some possible intentions of a man, who wants to send money to a lady, that he's talked to every day for a month but never met inperson?

One day, a man asked to follow me on Instagram, and I accepted and followed him back. After replying to some of his statuses, we started talking. Now, we talk daily on various of subjects.

Sometimes, we hint about having a relationship, by sending relationship posts and talking about relationships. We have never discussed or hinted about anything inappropriate, though. As of yet, he hasn't shown any red flags, but he does maintain his privacy more so about his job. I know he does work, because he's sent me plenty of voice recordings, and I can hear coworkers and machines in the background. He just doesn't share the name of his employer or his role at the job.

Also to note, I'm living overseas, but plan to return back to the US and have discussed visiting him. I just found it odd that, one day, out of the blue, he asked me if he could send me money. There wasn't a particular reason for it though. Since I know, I wouldn't want to send someone money I've never met yet before, his actions seem odd, but I do know that men think differently than women. I respectfully declined his offer, telling him that it's not my custom to receive money from men I don't know well yet.

But to all the men out there, I would still like to know what a man could be thinking (mindset of a good man and bad man), when he wants to send money to a woman, he doesn't know well yet. Thanks!~ ; )
