My crushes friends always stare at me?

So this happened really recently. My crush knows I like him. Just yesterday when i was walking to my friends car to go home, he was a few feet infront walking with two of his friends. his two friends turned around and mad eye contact with me and one of them was smiling. i started walking faster so i could get in front of them. when i made it infront of them they went from talking to each other to really quiet. when i made it to my friends car the door was locked, so i had to wait. him and his friends passed by and one of them was looking at me while my crush fixed his hair in his phone camera. this same friend had looked back a few more times on the walk too. what does this mean?
