men/women (not to assume gender) are going to stare at someone who has a crush on one of the people in what I call the pack. happened to me and my friends. when an outsider who's not in the pack stares at one that is the others I called the watchers will take notice. they may smile or nudge one another to let you know hey we know whats what. until you talk to her/him they will continue to do this. it's nothing to be threaten by or embarrassed at. it's normal and kinda fun to do in your own pack/group/clique or whatever you may refer to it as such. hope this helps.
