Here's one we DO want you to know, but almost none of us will tell you: we don't just want sex. We DO want that, but we also crave affection and attention, just like you do- but we often don't process it the same way; it'll likely take some experimentation to figure out what it takes to make your man feel appreciated and loved (unfortunately, he likely won't be able to tell you himself; our society does a lousy job teaching its daughters what to do in building a relationship with a man, AND a lousy job of teaching its sons to reflect on that and suss out what THEY want in those terms). The results are worth it, though.

That many guys are deeply insecure about themselves and promise girls a lot either in hope that it makes them look better in the girls eyes (being viewed as ambitious) or to buy time to get self-secure enough in the future for a relationship.
