What does it mean if a guy sing a love song and sent it to me all of a sudden?

So I have a friend and I used to like him. I didn't know if there's a chance for us because it's hard to read him so I tried my best to stop and let my feelings fade. We don't talk with each other that much when we were both in school vacation. I don't want to initiate because I'm tired of always giving him the first move to talk to him. Then school day is back again, we talk again because we belong in the same circle of friends. But I'm no longer excited to talk to him like how I used to. But suddenly when we started to have a connection in messenger again, he sent me a voice message of him singing a love song. But that wasn't the first time. He sent me multiple VM's before that made me liked him even deeper. So what does it mean? He stopped, yet there he is again. I'm really confuse now 😥
