Why does a married guy watch my instagram stories?

I am noticing a married guy followed me and is watching my stories on IG consistently and we've never talked before. I mean, attractive guy but why would he be doing that?

Because he’s a man that’s why. Regardless of whether he’s married or not men will always see other women they are attracted to. Having a wife or girlfriend doesn’t automatically shutdown that part of your brain that finds other women attractive. Chances are he thinks of you sexually.
