Does my student have a crush on me?

I am a private online teacher of a 16 yo boy.

I’ve been teaching him ever since I was 21.

In the beginning we didn’t get along as well as now, he now acts like an adult, we talk like adults and sometimes he even makes fun of me in a polite way, kinda like teasing me.

He’s shy and a very nice young boy.

Today we had a class about the hormone “Oxytocin”, I taught him what it is, he was smiling all the time while having class, when I asked why, he never said the reason 😂

In the end of the class, I asked him, when was the last time his body produced Oxytocin and he said “Just a second ago”, I asked “why” he smiled and said “I don’t know”, even blushed.

I know I put too much thought into it, but does he have a crush on me or something? 😅

So unless he ejaculated in his pants, I don't think he released any oxytocin. I think he's a 16-year-old kid with hormones raging in his body. It's very possible he has a crush on you but I don't think he understood what oxytocin is
