Why do some people see me as being creepy for being quiet?

i work in an environment where im brought up in several conversations for being quiet. I've been told that im quiet all the time at work even still when i talk a lot. The same people i talk to and have conversations with still identify me as quiet. The guys i work like talking to me and tell me im quiet but the girls think im weird and creepy and they ask the guys if i ever talk. One of the girls i work with tell everyone im quiet and "antisocial"

Yea it's a normal reaction from people, it used to happen to me all the time, you can always try communicating more

Because they see you as nerd and/or antisocial, and girls usually talk a lot.
