Why do people judge quiet and shy people a lot? Behind my back people have said I'm weird,etc.I'm really nice.

It upsets me people say someone is weird,creepy,etc. just because they are quiet or shy.I'm a good guy.I'm really nice,etc and people have talked smack about me just because I am quiet and shy.

Everyone gets judged regardless of their personality type. Don't let comments like that get to you. Sometimes people who are shy can give off the wrong impression and others may begin to think they are weird or (as in my case) stuck-up or rude when that couldn't be farther from the truth.

Anyone who takes the time to get to know me can see that I'm actually a very outgoing and kind person, I'm just typically very shy around people I don't know yet. Don't take it to heart hun. A lot of people make superficial judgements rather than trying to get to know someone first, it's just human nature. Try not to place so much emphasis on the opinions of other people. Those who truly know you will obviously know the real you.

Quiet people just do it, you never know what they are thinking until it happens.

Its usually a good thing, no one wants to upset, the quiet creepy guy. lol

In all seriousness its usually to gauge how you'll react. Some people just like to nag and pick at people to rustle their feathers. As long as no one is bullying you, you shouldn't worry about it.

Some quiet and shy people are creepy. Just as some talkative and loud people are creepy. Some people are creepy. If you feel like they are using Creepy to bully you, you need to learn how to stand up for yourself if it bothers you that much.

One time I was sitting in math class in Freshman year in High School and a girl in my math class whispered to a guy saying,'Steven is weird.'' The guy said'' why?'' and the girl responded'' He doesn't talk.'' I actually did talk back then but only when I had to,like school stuff.It's obvious she was referring to me not socializing with people.It upset me.

A Teenager not socializing with anyone else, ever, except to talk about school is weird. It isn't creepy. Most people are used to socializing in school, if you never talked, unless you HAD to. Most people find that odd. However, most people ARE weird, but people often keep their weirdness to themselves or to a minimum is social settings. IF you don't conform to social norms, you are going to disturb many people, especially if it is the most basic of social norms.

IMHO, it could be because it's not easy to know what shy or introvert people really think. That probably upsets some people a bit.
