Ex removed almost all of their pictures from instagram. Are they sad?

Regardless whether one is the dumper or the dumpee, one will bound to feel sad when a relationship comes to an end. But the reason why someone usually removes/deletes everything (including pictures of course) is a sign of creating a new beginning. He wants to start from scratch without having the past pull him back. My ex and I broke up last year (she was the dumper), I deleted everything too so I could finally try and move on. I haven’t fully moved on and I can’t let her go all at once, so I’m letting her go in stages. I finally deleted the very last batch of photographs yesterday.

Yup, a new beginning means letting go of everything from the past, regardless whether they’re pictures of you or him. I deleted my instagram account after the breakup - we didn’t even have pictures of one another there.

Yeah there’s something called dumper’s regret, search it up. Mostly for guys, they feel liberated right after a breakup and it only hits them after a few months.
