Do men prefer woman without grey hairs?

I was told by my ex that I needed to take care of myself and dye my hair to be more attractive to men ! I kinda find this hurtful , do men really more attractive to women with dyed hair and no greys?

I can't speak for guys in your own age bracket, but gray hair is a turn off for me.

This is of course if you are trying to actually be in a relationship. If you want to be single, then let yourself go and do what you want...

If you are trying to be in a relationship though, you are playing in "hard mode" now at 47 years old. The men that are single and 47 are usually either divorced and have gone "MGTOW" or they have money and they find girls with daddy issues/sugar babies in the 20/30 age bracket.

If you want to increase your chances of finding a relationship, you are going to have to do everything you can to not look like a grandmother. Your calorie count, fitness, and skin/hair care have to be on point. You might be able to attract some hook ups but actual relationships that aren't super toxic will be difficult...

Your "dating pool" will have a lot of divorced people in it or people who never wanted anything serious. You will also have a lot of "red flags" (an insane number of red flags at 45/55 bracket).

Being a single woman in her mid to late 40s and dating (even hook ups) is something I'm glad I'll never have to worry about doing, because most people will assume: "hmm, she looks old and is still dating... better stay away from anything serious with her".

I'm being pretty blunt here.. but that is because I'm trying to give pure honesty here. Prepare yourself and mentally "steel" yourself for the rejection/ghosting.

Everyone has to be realistic about aging. I agree that people should try to live a healthy lifestyle and exercise and maintain a healthy weight but most people will get gray hair at some point. Coloring it is just a fake. I am getting gray hair and so is my wife. She would probably either laugh at me or be horrified if I dyed it,

My Missus here (56) is very self conscious about a grey hair here or there.

I'm used to that 'behaviour'.

Myself, I quite like some grey. Even ''all-grey'' often looks nice. But no matter how much I assure her - she still dyes as if her life depends on it :)

I think the younger generation doesn't have the same view as the boomers. I'm seeing a lot of Gen X women go gray, while boomers wouldn't let one gray strand go uncolored. And the men aren't as phased by it anymore. They kinda like the wisdom and seasoning associated with it.

No. My teach has a mix of gray and dark hair and I think it is hot. I dont see it often and I think it is because people dye their hair... But if you look old the dye isn't going to help that... IT'S JUST GONNA MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE AN OLD YOUNG PERSON.

I don’t think that matters. Grey hair is a sign of ageing but it’s not the kind of ageing that reduces your beauty.

Like if you start getting wrinkled skin, then you don’t remain as attractive but the same isn’t true for greying hair.

Not at all, I think grey or silver hair on a woman can be very attractive. For me it’s more about a woman having a GOOD head of hair. I like long, thick hair. It’s just so feminine to me. I love it.
