Guys, Are Sweat Pants just for 'Going Commando?' If not, what's your reason (s) for wearing them?

Seen at least *two similar comments* from guys- on another post, and the two main words which stood out to me were:

SweatPants + Commando

SO my lazy but extremely curious question to you guys is:

What is the purpose of Sweatpants? Why do men choose to wear them?

• Gym?
• Comfy?
• More room to eat snacks?
• Gained a pound or so?
• Cold?
• More spacious for the package?
• *Laundy day- so going commando?

Would it be true and okay that I would assume a majority of men wear sweatpants, just for the sake/thrill or even 'wardrobe need' to go commando?

Please explain your thoughts and your reason (s) for wearing sweatpants, Thank you :)

I can't state about other guys wearing sweatpants but I wear them because they're comfortable or it's cold or a quick run to the grocery store. And, yeah, commando but not for thrill or anything -- it just feels better.

They're to keep your muscles from cooling and getting injured during a workout.

I've not owned a pair for over ten years 🤣
The last pair I had I used when I was going to the gym. I was a dancer when I was younger and I was careful not to get injured by doing anything too stupid and not warming up and keeping my muscles from cramping counts as very stupid!

Wearing sweat pants is completely unrelated to going commando. Sweat pants make you sweat - i. e. they help keep your muscles warm. Working out with cold unstretched muscles is a good way to get injuries. Sweats are also comfortable and loose so it's easy to do physical activity.

For people who need to "make weight" like boxers and wrestlers, sweats are a good way to loose a little weight before weigh-in. After weigh-in they have time before the match to replace all the water they lost.

For the same reason you women wear yoga pants. Number one they're very comfortable. Number two it's pretty tough to go commando wearing a pair of jeans, the seams are pretty tough on your ball sack. Number three, tons of women like seeing a dick bouncing in a pair of sweat pants

This helps a lot, and I thought: yeah, guys might like the thrill of the commando option, but it's possibly just a nuisance if they're not having sex. I'd assume you guys would feel sorta exposed, like I don't know, not ready to run if you had to? XD

Yes exactly. And underwear will keep your package in place so it doesn't move around. It's like how girls might want a bra for support and also not have pointing nipples, but they rather go without for comfort.
