Guys, Does this sound real to you?

I’ve been talking to this guy for two years. His dad passed away many years ago.

He is absolutely fine talking about his dad usually, and has done many times in the past.

Recently I asked if I can see a photo of his dad (was actually going to put it on a birthday cake for him) and he said he didn’t have a photo. When I asked why, he said he had cut every photo of his dad out of pictures, cause he was so upset when he died.

This story just sounds so weird to me, I’m not saying it couldn’t have happened. It’s just, he talks so openly about him and loved him so much. Why would he cut every photo?

when he did what he did about the pictures, which was many years ago... was probably an impulse influenced by deep and heavy feelings and emotions that were perhaps not possible to deal with back then, as it all happened


meanwhile, dealing with the loss today, and after so many years has gotten easier for him, I am sure talking about nowadays is much more easier, so there's no really a correlation between these two events, or not in the way you might be thinking about it

It doesn’t add up. He has at. Least one and he would know where it is too…if he loves Dad so much. Be careful how much personal information you share with him 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s a bit… odd. I would be concerned. I would not cut up photos of someone who died. That seems messed up.


Maybe it’s true. Maybe it’s a lie. Either way. Red flag 🚩
