Broad question I know, pros and cons? What comes to mind?

Here are my pros and cons for what it’s like for me to be a man.

Pros:

• Physical strength (I can move and lift heavy things when needed)

• Strong bones and joints

• Emotional balance (not overly ‘swingy’)

• My penis (orgasms are easy and sensational, I get to feel the inside of a vagina with it, it’s fun to play with, and I can pee while standing and not have to pull my pants down)

• Almost no waiting at public restrooms

• No menses, PMS, or uterus to cause me stress

• I almost never get a UTI

• People listen when I speak

• I am able to focus intently on the task at hand without mental distractions

• I am able to compartmentalize the various aspects of my life, so as to not be overwhelmed by it all

• I am able to let a wrong go and forgive quite easily (I think many women struggle with that sometimes)

Cons:

• Having an insatiable sex drive that always needs attention

• Hair loss

• Having to constantly shave the hair off my face

• Being labeled ‘toxic’ just for being male

• Being ridiculed, denigrated and shamed for my natural sexuality

• Always being expected to do the dirty work, like taking out the garbage or dealing with something nasty

• My seemingly innate inability to multitask

• Being forced to enroll in selective service between age 18 and 25 (USA) just because I have a penis (women are not required to)

Those are the pros and cons I can think of about what it is like to be a man. All things considered, I am very happy to be male. 😊

Easier to pee, I can reach the top shelf, open pickle jars all day, I’m not afraid to be out at night.

i’m financially responsible for sooo many people, I’m stressed all the time and not everyone understands, if I ask for help I feel weak, i go outside at night in my pajamas with a gun and flashlight and see what those noises were, I protect my family wherever they are to the best of my ability, if anything happens to my wife and kids I’m always the first suspect, friends have died in combat, I’m the one changing the tire at night in the rain…

This is not a rant nor complaint, just a description. The only complaint I have is that pickles are so full of sodium…😭

Eh... imagine being told that the only worth you have in the world comes from the money you make. Imagine having everyone constantly trying to take that from you, and no one ever giving you any kind of support. And then imagine being constantly blamed for every bad thing in the world.

On the flip side, no one expects anything of you because no one gives a fuck about you, so you're free to come and go as you please.

All in all, being a man is alright... the lack of support kinda sucks though.

• The gender pay gap might be beneficial
• Physical strength and better fitness levels/performance that motivates us to grind harder
• We tend to suppress all our emotions and burst out in sadness, feelings, whatever when we are alone😭
• We love to impress others of our talents and make you proud about us
• Easier to pee. Even when you are outside.. just slip your joggers Down slightly a little and that's it 🤷🏿‍♂️
