Some guys ARE simply rude. Others come across as rude, but aren't intending to - they often lack socialization with women, combined with feeling nervous around some women, leading them to stumble over their words or word their ideas poorly and rudely. That's unfortunate, but you'd be surprised at how many guys genuinely have had very little interaction with women beyond their own mother (and often those relationships aren't great either).

You haven't given us any context here, but I will say that some women are also a bit oversensitive about these things, and feel certain things are rude that most people wouldn't consider to be so. I'm not accusing YOU of that - I have no way to know if that's the case or not - but it's something to keep in mind.

I’m a blunt person, I will tell you how it is and if you don’t like it that’s your problem, if I was talking to a child I’d be all silly and playful as they are learning but adults don’t need to be babied so you will get my harsh honesty.


Also after years of abuse I don’t really know how to talk to people any other way so I just say it as I see it, I’m not being rude I’m just being honest.

Honestly, most guys have not been socialized well enough to know how to do that, no. Just the basic linguistic competence, understanding context clues, etc.; simply doesn't happen for young men. That's partially why fathers and father figures are so important.

I told a girl she needed to be responsible for her own life and that she shouldn't ALWAYS rely on others, which is the truth, yet she thought it was "rude". That's not being rude, that's just simply telling her what any parent would tell their kid that is trying to be an adult

Go to a library and look around at all the books on the shelves. There are men for hundreds of years filling people's heads with all sorts of flourished language. Obviously men understand language and how to use it. That doesn't mean they owe you anything. We are free to say whatever the fuck we want. Toughen up cupcake.
