Why is he still watching my stories when he has someone?

So this guy I use to speak to, I hit him up again, not knowing he has someone now! He was talking to me normally. Also said “I guess we can be friends again.” As we had a fall out. So then I just asked him “how’s things with your fam?” He ignored me so I said “if you don’t wanna talk just say so I can move on.” He then responded “sorry I didn’t mean to ignore you, but I’m seeing someone and I’m not trying to disrespect her.” I then just said “sorry I didn’t know, I’m happy for u.” He put “thankyou.” And I ignored it. However he’s watching my stories of me within seconds and watching stories of me in revealing outfits multiples of times. I don’t understand.

Don't think too much on it as it probably doesn't mean anything. Guys can view your story even though they have no intention of keeping anything more than a simple friendship or even nothing, and I've seen not only other guys do this, but girls as well.

Take me for example. You'd have added me on your socials, and even if we aren't dating, most of the time when I'm just scrolling through my feed, I might come across your story, linger on a slide for a while, then swipe away onto the next one. Doesn't mean a thing, and I'll probably even forget about it in a few minutes. A lot of girls who I once had random flings with, crushes on, dated or just have them in my feed rarely ever talk to me, but will ALWAYS view my stories.

If he's commenting on them, then that's something. If he isn't, best not get any hopes up.

You’ve put too much emphasis on him watching your stories. The way people are glued to their phones and social media it’s not some massively confusion notion or sign of interest that he’s watch your stories quickly. He’s said you guys are cool, he’s just taken. There was no fallout or reason for him not to watch.
