Too bad you didn't get to see the TV special I saw a couple days ago that showed how those new evs are more harmful to people and the environment due to the requirements to make one, the condition of the work environment, where the electricity is produced, and that much of the money for the batteries for them goes to China's government. It also takes 2 minutes per mile to charge them. So to drive it 30 miles takes a 1 hour charge. The people have to wait around at charging locations for it to charge which over time will waste many hours of their life.
I suggest just getting a fuel efficient vehicle like a Nissan Versa, Toyota Corolla, etc.
Plus if you think about it, the same people trying to push for eva to help the "environment" also supported weekly covid testing (millions of plastic tests in the environment every week) and they pushed for mask mandates (millions of disposable masks EVERY DAY) So what is really harming the environment and who is just trying to profit from pushing certain products.

  It really is about creating dependency, limiting movement, freedom, and choice. Electric does this as a whole electrical society can be shut down, martial law enforced, and fully controlled.

  Doesn't use any fuels, just muscle power,
  
  uses up only a few kg of rescources to build (aluminium, steel, rubber,...) compared to hundreds of kg even a small car uses up.
  
  Also takes up a small fraction on the road so you need less roads and can plant more trees and other plants.
