If a girl drunk texted you telling her she liked you, what would you guys think? If you were taken?

Drunk texted a guy recently declaring he was my crush. He is married with kids (do not judge me, I would never have done this sober) I texted him and emailed him and I did apologise the next day and he seemed ok with that. I just want to know , if this happened to you, what would you think/do? He hasn’t blocked me or anything , yet.

I would probably be doing just what he is doing.

This is not a big deal.

Unless fantastically unattractive, every single one of us has admirers who are attracted to us but who may not do anything or say so simply because it is inappropriate. But we who are admired can often still sense the attraction from the admirer. We silently enjoy it, but don't speak of it generally.

Now, biologically, the inhibition center of the brain prevents people from doing inappropriate things. It is that part of the brain which prevents and admirer from inappropriately stating so or doing anything about it. However, one of the effects of alcohol is that it lowers inhibitions - the inhibition center of the brain becomes compromised.

And that's what happened to you. You admire the guy, but you know it is inappropriate to have a relationship with him, so, normally, you "keep it to yourself" and that's it. But once you were drunk, the inhibitions were overwhelmed by the lust (that's how a lot of babies got born) and so you called.

Now, for all you know, he already did know you admired him. But, he is simply treating it with an unsaid "thank you" and acknowledgment but it moving on because you both know it is inappropriate. That's what adults do and, generally, they innately understand what I wrote.

So, bottom line, don't sweat it. Believe it or not, this is probably a good thing.

I would think your being drunk doesn't matter, that you exposed your true feeling about me. Thats what being drunk does to people, it's like a truth serum that unleashes all those inhibitions that sober you would never do but would really want to do.

I would think that drunk or sober you would really be down for fling, because you had to know one way or another, I am not going to leave my wife just because you sent an email or text. But if I wanted to act on it could fuck the living shit out you and have a really good time with it. That is what I would think.

I was married for 22 years, and for the first 15 I would have never considered following up on it with you, but by year 18... I would have totally hooked up with you, because by year 19 we were seperated anyway. But he has kids, so that would be a deal stoper for me.

I wouldn't think much of it now because I am taken. Even if I were single though, I wouldn't take it seriously or at face value. Women change their emotions as frequently as the fucking wind blows.

Doesn't matter if they are drunk. I have had women that were drunk tell me they wanted to have sex with me or blow me. Obviously them being drunk I will not act on that, plus it is more than likely a lie. Contrary to what many may think, drunk speak isn't truth.
