Serious question. The funniest people I have ever encountered in my entire life were gay guys. Like laugh until my stomach hurts laugh…. Why is this?

I'm a gay man and my closest friends are almost all girls. Humor is definitely a big part of our friendships. I think the relationship between a gay man and a heterosexual woman is free of many of the constraints that exist between a straight man and a straight woman even if they may not feel attracted to each other. I don't look at life and human relationships from the strict glasses of a heterosexual man, and I think that is met favorably by many of my female friends, in addition to not having the sexual tension.

However, as it may be the case for you as well, the way I interact with female friends extend beyond funny moments. I am told that I make the best girl-talk, so we share a lot in our love for fashion, makeup, gossip, and of course are attraction to guys. So, I think enjoying life together without the social constraints and stigma otherwise attached to male-female friendship, things become more natural and fun, including a lot of laughter.

Yeah they are pretty fun to be around. I've only been around like 1 gay guy, and he worked at a restaurant. Whenever me and my family would go, he was always making jokes 😅

Because they have hall pass to say any sexual inuendo's without the woman being offended because with a straight guy she feels it will come out as sexual harrasment but with a gay guy she knows that's not the case
