My husband recently separated our phonelines and left me with a massive bill my phone got turned off today?

He tells me he doesn't have the funds to help and if i want him to rob a bank. I ask him if I could look in his wallet and he says no he has 120.00 dollars that he owes to someone. I feel so dumb because he's always asking me to be selfless and to help him out which i sometimes do, yet when my phone turns off i get no help, actually every-time a bill comes around it turns into a huge fight and again he has no money. I need help understanding this. Please

Sorry to hear that, other than separate finances which has been suggested already it may be worth look into a more "basic" prepaid option where you can port your phone number over. If you're in the US I would suggest METRO or in Canada CHATR. If you already had prepaid unlimited basic plans then maybe a part time job or gig job like Uber until you're out of your situation.
