What does it mean if a guy says to you that he thought of you couple times? Does this mean he thinks about me? Does it mean only two times he thought of me?

+1 yIf a guy says that, it means you're his last thought at night and first thought in the morning... Its love.

I'm a straight man, I'd never say such a thing to a girl I'm not dating unless I liked her and wanted to date her.

Actually it means more than you think, there must be something between you both.
I don't know a guy who would tell a girl he was thinking about her, and a girl who reveals she dreamed about him.
I think you should make moves to spend more time with him, there is probably something there. - +1 y
So that’s what he meant when he said that?…we hadn’t spoken in a while so I texted him…and he responded within minutes…I told him I had a dream about him and he wanted to know what was the dream about…I said to him, that he thinks about me way too much that’s why I keep seeing him in my dreams lol He then responded to me saying…”Yeah, I thought about you couple times”
So I was wondering if it means more than once or only once? Obviously it’s hard to tell since now we haven’t spoken in a while but I still wonder if he thinks about me. - +1 y
Him saying that he thought about you a couple of times is basically a modest way of saying that your on his mind a lot. Just be careful though, like read his behaviour and body language just to be sure.

I think so, obviously I'm only hearing a tiny tidbit of your interactions and basing my opinion on that. If there are other behaviours that make you have doubts, then it could be different.

Is driving by your house a necessary thing for him or would he have done that on purpose?
I'm assuming heis a normal down to earth guy, like hopefully not strange or stalkers by driving by your house. - +1 y
Ok that definitely sounds like he really likes you, as in he may have a crush on you. He is thinking about you, he is driving by your apartment perhaps thinking of visiting you, but deciding last minute not to.
I'd be confident he likes you, but just be cautious and make sure it's healthy and he isn't secretly obsessed in an unhealthy way. - +1 y
Oh ok, well that explains it. The fact you are wondering about what he said suggests that you like him, make a move.
- +1 y
Why do you think he no longer cares?
- +1 y
When you textd him, did you close your message with a question? If not, he may have thought you were looking to close the conversation.
I had a similar experience about 1 year ago. - +1 y
We were planning on meeting up the weekend so I texted him saying just “hey” but no response he usually response with in seconds or no more then 5 minutes. He response pretty quickly but this time Nothing just SILENCE…and so from that day I never reached out and he never did either. So now it’s been months and I’m still wondering what happened? I saw him back in June he passed by my house with a different car. I’m assuming it was a rental. We both looked at each other at the same time it was crazy…the. He quickly drove off and I’ve never seen him since then.😔

What if he lost his phone that day and missed your message?
- +1 y
Well why else would he just abruptly nor respond to you? If you both didn't fall out or have any reason to become estranged, then I don't see any other reason.
- +1 y
Just drop him a text/WhatsApp to say hi and happy new year. If he doesn't respond, at least then you can be sure something is up. If he does respond, it might finally prompt something positive to happen.
- +1 y
Maybe, but it still might be worth knowing for certain.
Did you both live together, like share an apartment? Or did he just live nearby?
Also did you actually date before or hookup or anything? - +1 y
No, I'm not looking for specific details of what you both did together, I was simply trying to understand the nature of your relationship, like was it platonic or did you kiss or was it more serious. No more detail than that.
It would be unusual for platonic friend to not reply like that, I just wondered if maybe you had been more than friends. - +1 y
Okay, so long story short…I met him in my apartment complex he worked here as a worker and he also lived in the same complex as me that’s how I met him. When we first met he immediately started flirting with me and soon he asked for my number.
The first two times he asked I didn’t give him my number, because at the time I had a little situation I was dealing with. So he told me whenever I was ready I could give him my number. Anyways months later I saw him as I was leaving for work so I Finally gave him my number…BUT when I gaved him my number he didn’t seem to care that much, like he took a week to even text me and that’s only because he seen that I got kinda mad that he wasn’t texting or calling. When he did we talked for a little bit and he told me to save his number and he also asked for a picture…Now here we are 1 year later, he no longer lives here. So one day I decided to text him, it was around this time January last year. When I texted him, honestly I didn’t think he was going to respond to me but he did, he responded within 5 minutes. We talked for like 5 or 6 hours through texting, we send each other picture and he told me I still love so beautiful.
The next morning when I woke up he send me a good morning text. And so from that day we kept on talking mostly ever morning.
But one day I decided to end because I felt like he wasn’t very serious. There were some red flags 🚩 and I kept feeling like I wasn’t the only women he was talking to, that he was probably entertaining other women as well. So one day when he texted I told him is better we go our separate ways and all he said was “ok” through text. He didn’t even as why or anything he just went along with it.

Oh ok, that explains things in a slightly different light, I suspect your gut feeling was correct. Based on the information you shared he was likely seeing, chatting to or hooking up with other women. Otherwise he would have been more engaged in both conversations and also chasing you a little bit.
- +1 y
Yeah it sounds like he had other girls on the side too.

Sorry I wasn't trying to be hurtful or be a dickhead, it just sounds like he was playing the field.
