The one thing that men tend to lack is being humble. Their ego is like their penis overinflated. If he’s offended then that really his own problem so don’t take it on as your own. You aren’t responsible for his ego or his sense of self worth. Just like others aren’t responsible for your sense of self esteem. I say be honest and if he’s hurt by it then so be it.
