I was in my Uber and this guy was like absolutely randomly in the middle of the car ride that there will be a change in weather today? I asked what he meant as I didn't know what he was referring to. He said there will be a (weather prediction etc.) I said Ah okay.

It felt very random.

Maybe he was just trying to break the silence and tension in the air and make random conversation (if you were being a silent weirdo the whole time). If you're a silent weirdo and don't talk to the driver when riding in an Uber, that might make the driver uncomfortable.

Nah I've been on rides where I've not really talked to the driver and it's been normal not weird.
