I was at a bar chatting with this guy who was gay. He said I was very cute. I'm a guy so I was kind of surprised and I said, wait what? He then said he was sorry. No big deal but I was wondering, did he probably think I was good looking? Later he said I had beautiful teeth and nice hair and even said I seem like a nice person. He said I could be a jerk, but I seem like nice person and all lol.

It's possible he thought you were good looking, man. Sometimes gay dudes can tell when another dude cleans up well, even if they're not into guys. And he was definitely giving you some compliments.

Saying you have nice hair, teeth and seem like a nice person usually means the dude finds you at least somewhat attractive. Gay guys probably have a different perspective on male looks than we do. As long as he was respectful about it, I wouldn't read too much into it.

At the end of the day, what matters most is how you see yourself. Sounds like you made a new friend at the bar too. Who cares what sexuality he is - as long as he thinks you're an alright guy, that's a win. Don't overthink it bro, just take the compliments and move on having had a good convo. You good!
