What do my friends mean when they say guys can tell you are unhealed/don’t love yourself?

They mean exactly what theysaid, there's nothing to direct or interpret, and you pretending to understand is you trying to avoid the issue.

Men and women can tell when someone is sad and lonely and is trying to get a partner cause they aren't happy alone, the aren't happy alone cause they don't like/love themselves or where they are in live. They can tell that this sad lonely person is 1, going to be clingy and 2, they have it in their head that a boyfriend/girlfriend will fix all their problems, which is what we call baggage, no body wants baggage, no one wants to start a relationship basically being held hostage by the sad person's expectations, nobody wants that, except manipulators, users and abusers and trust me the can read you like a book to, they know your lonely ass needs them and extort you for money, sex, food, home etc and if you ever say no the gonna use your insecurity against you in the form of threats of dumping you cause they know you're desperate and will reluctantly accept their demand cause you can't stand to be alone and loose it all, all the happiness you rested on their shoulders.

I’m not lonely I am not clingy I honestly don’t even talk to guys much when I date them because I’m either at the gym or spending time looking up or reading on my interests I have never been in a relationship so I mean I’m not sure they can tell. I believe some can but how come some have been very suprised when I’ve told them I have some healing to do I must’ve hidden it well or he’s just not an observant guy he said he just thought I was a nice genuine girl and that I have all my marbles..

Not just a man thing, women can too, but some pick up on this more easily than others. Certain behaviors when displayed are tell tale signs of being hurt, or not being emotionally ready. Things like being too clingy, or being too cold. Or sleeping around (Men AND Women). Distrustful over everything, not wanting to commit.

Remember, your words are one the least communicative things about you.
