Many white guys still like white girls. The influx of anime however may have caused a lot of interest for Asians.
Aside from that, it's also starting to be more accepted to be in interracial relationships, so it's more okay to show the interest now.
Not all white girls, but it's a fact that modern white women in the West are much less desirable than their counterparts of the past were. Lots of reasons for that.
