What are your thoughts on daily contact?

I have a guy friend who calls or texts (sometimes both) me daily. (I never get to reach out to him because he’s already on it.) Some form of contact happens daily. Some days I dont want to talk.

I love a guy so much I could die for him but I make sure not to text him daily. He is extremely handsome and has a girlfriend. During October last year I didn't text him for about 14 days and he sent me a really cute message with a ❤. Absence makes the heart grow fonder I think.

No, I’m not obligated. I don’t know why but always feel like I should answer his calls.
