looking closer at the time stamps, it could be as simple as the reply timing. also the "dont be a stranger" part could come across as not romantically interested as its quite safe, generic, and platonic.

Awwww I thought I was being warm/welcoming/inviting. So you think he’s probably thinking Im not interested? That’s the whole conversation. Just the three text messages. He sent me that text the night we met (2/9), I replied when I woke up in the morning (yesterday 2/10). And I haven’t heard from him since.

keep in mind there is the possibility he was already taken and got caught talking to you. then again there is always that slight possibility that he just got busy with life. also, have you tried reaching out again since then? he could also be waiting on you to initiate more convo. one reason behind waiting for you to iniate is that its easy to misinterpret intentions and guys now have added worry (in some states and some non-US countries) of felony charges if they misinterpret romantic intentions.

I understand that is also a possibility. But I don’t think it’s really fair to assume the worse but I understand these things happen. I just feel that maybe he mistook my reply as disinterested. So you think it’s an good idea to text again? I don’t want to come off as needy or desperate

depends on what you would text him (or say if you called) and no am not offering to proofread such nor write a script for such a call/text. best for it to be something genuine, lightherated, and blatant (not hints) but also not overly strong.

He actually ended up texting this morning telling me in return to not be a stranger and proceeded to ask me what I had planned this weekend. So I guess things worked themselves out. Thanks so much for your help.
