Anyone knows how long I can live in a hotel for?

Depends on contry to contry and hotel to hotel
Some places got basiclly rules that if you live some where for X time you get some rights and stuff, so hotels may try to avoid that, if you check out and in they may allow it, as its like you did a new contract

Some hotels may be fine that as long as you pay be around as long as you like
Outhers may not allow it for vraity of reasons

So you will have to ask the front desk about the options you can get

When I was in France I saw students who lived in hotels for over a year because they were doing their degrees in France and the hotel was better than the near by rooms for rent. I do not understand how that works since I imagine there is a risk of theft if you live in a hotel that long.

As long as you want. I've lived continuously in a motel for five months. Several times I've done it for 1-3 months. Altogether in life I've probably spent a few years in motels.

Yeah I would need too because I wouldn’t be allowed to live with my family members and they want me out. I am straying a temp job soon in different area just wanted to know.

I've done a lot of out-of-town temp work while I lived in motels. I don't know how it is where you live, but one thing to keep in mind is the high tax that motels/hotels have. In the US, after 30-90 days the tax drops off. So the price goes down significantly. It might be $20 per day or more. It's also retroactive, so you might get reimbursed several hundred dollars when it drops off.

There are some chains that specialize in long term stays. They usually have a weekly rate and maybe a monthly rate. You probably won't get maid service every day like nightly stays. It's common to get one full service once a week, and a mini service a second day to change towels and sheets, but not a full cleaning. The specialized places are also likely to have mini kitchens, with stove, fridge, sink, microwave, etc.

I don't know if this image will show or not. I've spent almost a year total in one almost exactly like this. The layout is exactly the same. The furnishing are a little different. The TV wasn't there. I think they moved it there just to take the picture.

as them, usually the residence inns are better set up for longer stays.

Some will say in the small writing when booking the room that you can do it for up to 3 months

Can’t you keep staying if you recheck out then recheck in again after the 3 months?

Hmm i didn't think about that. It might be but i doubt it since your room has have a card attached to the booking for automatic withdrawal of the deposit. Maybe if you booked the room under someone elses card

Read somewhere or someone said after 24 hours it would be renew again because its the policy I am not sure though I think it depends on the hotel

I think I saw it says 28 days but I see other people their for longer than that because I kept going on and off to that hotel

As long as you can pay their rent. I live in one for over a year. I loved it.

Because you can’t decorate it however you want, and it’s usually significantly more expensive than living in an apartment.

You can decorate the hotel room, put the “do not disturb” on the handle?

What I meant is you can’t change the furniture. You can’t put your own bed and set of drawers in there etc.
