I don't know if it is gag I see too many guys saying that they won't date same age girl but in real life I rarely see guys who want to go for younger girls. We think that they're immature and men agree with us maybe it is because I am young. i also prefer same age guys.

Let's drop your anecdotal experience, within a small age window. Guys prefer a girls youth, and your sample size is skewed by the fact that the girls from 18-24 are in their youth, and peak value in a guys eyes. Guys the same age would obviously prefer girls their same age, as this parallels a girls peak value. Now, add ten years to the guys and the preference would change- still aimed at women in their youth. As far as girls, as long as they understand that things cost money, and their parents won't support them forever then they'll start preferring older guys.

Okay then why average age gap is 1 to 3 year in most marriage?
I have older cousins etc all of them are in relationship with similar age men from same age to at max 5 year older.

When I was 34 I got with my girlfriend who was 18. It's been two years I'm 36 and she's 20.

Before her I was 32 and my girlfriend was 22 and we were together 2 years.
