How does it make a man feel when a woman tells him he makes her feel safe, like nothing can get her?

A guy I’m sleeping with (50 years old) asked me (33 years old) how I make him feel. A few of the things I said to him were he makes me feel safe like nothing can get me, he makes me feel like I can do anything I put my mind to & he makes me feel like a stronger person than I was before. Do men take those 3 things as compliments?
