No, not weird. It's smart, actually, and those who have to clean up after men appreciate guys who sit to pee. It saves from having to wipe up the mess that guys make when they pee into a toilet standing up. The best way to handle a mess is not to make one in the first place. Besides, how a guy pees or otherwise takes care of bathroom business isn't something I pay much attention to.

I don't pay much attention either (warersports aren't my thing lol) but I've noticed it a couple of times at night and he thought I was asleep... ... but inhave noticed he has been cleaner than my exes

I heard that it was better for your health to sit than stand when peeing. Something about more stress on your body to stand and force it all out, then to sit and let it drain out with less strain. Try it and see.
