Why would a Male coworker Go out of his way to avoid me?

Two weeks ago I Started a new Job in a friendly Team. The First day I felt like my supervisor was slightly flirting with me.

Now however when He knows that I will be in the Office He looks for excuses to disappear and Not See me. Why could that be? I Never Made any advances towards him.

Could be worried about his job. Someone may have said something. Someone else with interests and less than ethical values plants seeds of manipulation.
Or he could be trying to see if you will go out of your way.

Sounds like he wasn't flirting with you but he deduced that you took it that way. So it sounds like he's making himself scarce in hopes that you'll figure it out.

That's YOUR take. Your perception. But guess what. Other people have THIER perception. YOU'RE assuming he was flirting. Doesn't make it a reality. I also think it's kind of funny "he stared and smiled at me". Most people DO in conversation. It's called COURTESY.

I have a question why do you ask a question the try to argue with someone who's trying to help. I don't think you really want help. 😆😆😆

I know many women misread men's friendliness for attraction. a lot of your gender take innocuous interactions for more then it is because you want to see attraction in him where thier is none. Whether you do this just to build yourself up or not is up for debate. It sounds like this is probably the case.
It's OK., there's nothing really bad about you doing it so long as you stay anchored to reality.
