He’s a Coworker I worked close with for a few months but no longer work with. When we worked together we joked a lot laughed had a good report. A lot of banter and teasing. Over time I developed a crush on him. When he sees me at break across the room he’ll look at me and I’ll look back and we’ll both just hold that gaze for a few seconds. Maybe 6 seconds or so. No expressions. Something likes he’ll do something silly very subtle tho. Everytime I walk by him he also looks at my ass ( I happen to have A very nice ass). Is he just hardwired to look at me bc I’m physically attractive as an instinct or does he like me / have a crush on me? And is his making eye contact with me a way of him flirting or communicating something. Or he’s just looking at me to look at me?

well some people just look and are afraid to do more ,, others take the next step and come out and just say what there thinking ,, so why not just ask him what you want and be done with it either way.. then you will know ,, and how do you know he was looking at your ass
