Lol. Said that to my friend st work. Not those exact words but he was like oh I’m tired and I said he should take a vacation and then he said nah and that he should just be a man and suck it up lol and I said OK YEAH THATS TRUE I AGREE. LMFAO. IM VERY TRADITIONAL.

I didn’t say the traditional part. But yeah i traditional so I like his choice better than mine. He said it not me. I just think it’s a good choice. Men are so smart omg

nothing new there.
Sometimes we get our asses handed to us during a shift, but you keep going.
Wed we had calls pretty much all night.
I was just going to go to bed and then it started.
I think I got about 2 hours of sleep in 24.
I hate working 48s when both shifts are like that.
You start running low on adrenalin to keep you going, so you just suck it up and keep going anyway.
It is not the healthiest thing you can do, so we try very hard not to let people do more than 48 hours, but I have done a few 72s.
I was not happy but during covid we were losing so many people to the vid there was just no other choice.
You were pretty much a walking zombie fueled by caffeine and sugar at that point.
Trainings during the day were suspended in order we could get more rest.

I have been working since I was 17. Except for being unemployed during covid. I get up every day , get dressed and go to work. I don;t see how anyone can ever retire the way inflation is. Biden's anti-American policies made everything regular people buy more than double in price and he has nearly two more years to make it double again.
