Can a younger man date and marry a a woman 3-5 years older?

Im 24 and i noticed that most of the guys that i find super attractive are around 20, and there is this super cute 21 yo guy that i've been flirting with ( he made the first move), but my mind keep telling me that i should stick to guys my age and older if i want à partner to find me attractive cause men barely like women their age, let alone older, and that if they flirt then it's just for a one night stand, and they gonna leave me for a younger woman, but i also think it's stupid cause older men can also be player and leave me for a younger one.

This 21 yo guy is very sweet, handsome, Christian and says he is into me. Can this lead to something on the long terme? Can i have guys opinion too?

Men prefer young women because submissiveness, looks and fertility, you are yet not too old to give birth, so I think that you can still date a guy who is 3 years younger than you.

Once you are in your 20's, a -5 year age gap is not enormous.

It can definitely turn into something. That's not that big of an age difference. If you can handle his immaturity for a few years (and, at 24, you still have a ways to go), you two would be fine as if the age difference doesn't matter.

1. For her age, sure, my wife is still attractive albeit, her two best girlfriends left the party in SEP 2021.
2. Every woman I dated was younger than my wife at the time I dated them. In 1995, I was briefly with a woman 9y 1m older than me... but she was still younger at that age than my wife's age when I met her in 1999.

I don't follow societal convention on these age issues. It is rigid and outdated. Age should not stop 2 people from finding a happy relationship.

Well we women are sadly bombarded with messages about how men only like younger women, and how we expire at 25-30. It's already hard women my age to see themselves as good enough to à guy her age, let alone someone slightly younger. It's like society is telling us that we should marry men at least 10 years older if we wanna be loved and desired but i hope it ain't true for all men.

Don't get me wrong, my wife is 9 years my junior.. That having been said, I'm a firm believer that you can't really control who you fall for. And where I'm from, I tended to avoid women my age because they are almost all single mothers, or have so much emotional baggage that I just don't wanna deal with it, or have been married and divorced more than once.. That's not saying all women are like that.. But it very common here.
