I don't know if I’d say he has 9k+ women on there lol but possibly a few, which really doesn’t matter if he’s a single dude. You could try being more direct about your interest rather than hope he catches a hint or something. If you feel afraid to speak up then not saying this in a rude way but you have to work on your self esteem. Rejection happens but fear of it shouldn’t stop you from shooting your shot or ruin how you feel about yourself.

Not too heavy on the lol’s with him, this guy I liked when I was like 23 once told me it’s just “ a ditzy space filler, not everything is funny” and I never let that go😂. As for him taking the lead, I think the ball would be in your court. What you want is to feel like he’s mutually interested or to be pursued, but he’s not the one shooting his shot, you are. So you should get to the point basically. Ask him out for a drink or whatever, and that is very straightforward. If he isn’t putting in much effort, then I think that would speak to his interest in investing in you. Not that you’re not attractive or etc, but not each guy is available when you are, you know?

Stop, how funny that I got this advice at 23, maybe it’s an age thing😂. So I’ll say this, when you’re trying to find a guy then be practical. Sure he’s cute and you feel a spark, but looking at the general situation it doesn’t sound great. You’re an hour apart and you need to focus on your studies. friends with benefits situations when you know you like the guy is just setting yourself up to have your heart stomped. I’m guilty of getting too caught up on wanting to be with a guy, but relationships just aren’t a priority or even a necessity. My vote is probably what you won’t go with, but I think you should wait if the guy isn’t engaging and you’re having to pursue. You don’t want or need to chase. Any guy I chased in the past was a player or a dog. Genuine interest takes little to no work on my behalf.
