Was it a coincidence?

There’s this guy I know who showed up at my workplace. He knew I was working at a secondhand store, local to my area. I think he couldn’t have known which shop I work in. I wasn’t specific when I mentioned working at a local one or that it’s two suburbs from my house. He’s not the kind of guy who’d shop at a secondhand store, so I did wonder why he was there. Am I right that it must be coincidental?

I’m not sure. I think he bought something.

I guess he is the type to shop at thrift shops then...😂😂
So did he talk to you?

I guess he must be. He always seemed like such a snob. Yeah, checked me out and didn’t look surprised to see me. I said hi and he said hi in a deepened voice. Then when he bought his t-shirt, he thanked them in his normal, braying voice, a very distinctive voice, then he left.

He didn't know you would be there. Wth does his voice tone have to do with anything?

Well he totally changed his tone of voice to sound like a different man when we spoke to each other. Deliberately deepened it.

He has a really loud, braying, high pitched voice in real life.

Okay... so what?

So.. I have no idea.
