Yeah I would chalk that up to coincedence. There is a chance he did it on purpose because nothing in life is 100% certain but I would say there is a less than one percent chance that was him trying to get your attention. There are much easier ways for people to show they are interested than grabbing an adjacent parking space. I wouldn't put too much stake into this having any meaning. There would be other signs he was into you than just where he parked one day. Don't overthink it.
