A while ago, I reconnected with my ex and we slept together. He knew I was on birth control and I said I have to retake it again the following week (it’s an injection done once every three months). A few days later, we had an argument and stopped talking. However, exactly three months later when my injection wore off he contacted me.

We have been talking and he asked if we were okay (as in I wasn’t pregnant). I said no and that we didn’t have to talk about it (cause this does worry him a lot). He then said “no one makes me want them as much as you do”. I think he means as in he wants me but it’s just the timing of the conversation. Is it all in my head or not?

That is kinda weird timing, ngl. Reconnecting right when your BC wore off, then asking about pregnancy afterwards too. Seems like maybe more than just coincidence, feel me?

On one hand, dudes say all kinds of stuff when they're feeling a girl. And we was smashing so he probably does want you for real.

But timing being so perfect got me wondering if he was maybe trying to trap you or something. Get you preggo so you'd be tied to him, you know? Not saying that's definitely it, but I wouldn't rule it out either based on these details.

I'd just be careful moving forward. Feel him out more and pay attention to any other odd behaviors or comments. Maybe even avoid banging again til you re-up the BC, just to be safe.
