How do you tell whether someone is making repetitive eye contact out of attraction or just pure coincidence/accident?
I ask because there is a guy that works at my local Starbucks and we always make regular eye contact but he's not particularly chatty. I 100% find him attractive. I've complimented a pin he wore on his uniform once since it was from my favorite movie. He also pointed out my tattoo from the same movie another day. Whether he's working behind the counter or he's restocking and I'm waiting for my drink, we tend to make eye contact rather frequently but communication is always very limited. However, I did ask him around October 2021 if he was single and he said he wasn't but it seems that he's been actively noticing me more lately. That could just be because I frequent that location more often than before as I don't think he really noticed me as much then or even remembers whether I was the one to stop him and ask. Lately I've noticed him holding longer eye contact if/when he gives me my drink and I've also caught him watching me walk out of the shop a few times.
Any tips/tricks to get to the bottom of this one? I feel silly asking if he's single AGAIN just in case he isn't and it's just been coincidence. I also don't want to come off as a creep lol its tough establishing relationships out in the wild 😅
