Why do guys give out girls contact info?

This guy who has been chase me for years gave his brother my Social media in the first year of be known him. I declined the request 4 years later after finally hooking up with the guy who has been chasing me. His brother sends another friend req. I find it so weird can someone please explain.

Hmmm so usually it means that guy who asked for your contact info is into you and the person who gave you it doesn't mind if he went after you.🤔 did you hook up with the guy who was chasing you, then 4 years pass and the brother tried to add you? Is that what I'm understanding?

All I know is the brother is into you, but if the one who gave him your info is also into you.. that part is a little odd. Unless he already hit and then gave his brother your info

So the 4 yr guy has been into me since the beginning and gave his brother from info the first year. I never met the brother by the way. I deleted the friend req his brother sent me then 4 years later his brother sent me a new friend req but not me and the guy has recently hooked up.
