Depends, some guys genuinely means it and might be flirting. Some men are clever and know it’s unique and therefore a lot of females will notice it more and keep it in mind, and some are just being nice. Just take time and notice how he acts and speaks around you, that says a lot.

Personal opinion, it means that he actually cares. If it's not just about the appearance for him that means he is actually caring about the heart
