For me it's kind of about her looks and skintone. But for my black girlfriend, she looked so good in this purple/blue shade. I remember her purple/blue dress so vividly. Then for white girl, she had kind of a medium skin, not so fair like ginger (never got to date a ginger girl although I think they are so beautiful). She looked good in kind of neutral colors in my opinion, like sorta pastel colors. Then for Asian women which is mostly the type I dated with super pale skin and very dark hair, I think contrasting colors somehow work. Like you don't want to blend it there. So maybe a dark blue or just jet black.
