Why would a guy do this?

This guy has been telling me he's gay for a while. He interjects my conversations with people and tells me I'm not his type. Okay? Go to someone who is? I forgot about him for ages too. He's been talking to me through anon accounts and fake accouts... it's all weird but why do this?

He might be insecure and jealous of you as a gay man (competition for men). This happened to my mom (with my dad) with a gay stranger at a grocery store. He started bullying her. They got the manager who told him off and apparently this wasn’t the first time. From the description of the story, the guy was out of shape, smiling and enjoying the verbal abuse he was giving. It was indirect stuff to try to get away with it (plausible deniability).


Jealousy is all I can think he was about you. It doesn’t have to be over a specific man, or a man you’re aware of. It’s animalistic behavior, like wild animals seeing who is taller, locking antlers together, marking territory with pee, etc.

Perhaps part of the harassment is to make you confused. It’s random only for the reason to make you wonder why it’s random. Or it’s to make you think about him as you try to make sense out of his behavior.

(Maybe) He wishes he was a biological woman because he is attracted to straight men. And you have a better chance of getting more straight men before him. If I am correct, it is because nature is motivating him (without his knowledge) to spread his seed and millions of women are an obstacle to that goal, including you.

I know it sounds silly. Nature is silly a lot of the time, and cruel and twisted. Nature makes living things do things they don’t want to do, but makes them THINK they want to do it.

Nature forces creatures to produce more than enough offspring because statistically some will die or not procreate. This causes suffering for the individuals but it’s for the sake of the species as a whole.

Nature gives species members mutations to have variety. If the mutant cannot survive life or procreate, then that genetic blueprint is not suitable at that time. If the mutant can overcome its burdens (a hard life) then it is a viable gene. But either way the mutant itself has to suffer its whole life just because nature wanted to cover all the bases.

Nature has a “make more than you need” style in case something catastrophic happens in the world. Any excess is discarded. What happens if that discarded mass has feelings and thoughts? That’s trillions of people and animals suffering.

Nature also has a “put two in a cage and see who wins” attitude. People are no exception. Those nature documentaries with animals have duels for mating rights and territory, we are just like that if we let our emotions control us, except nature can implant excuses in the form of rationalizing, otherwise we would stop the practices that nature likes to use for survival of the species.

Nature uses us, just as the cells in our bodies are at our mercy and are sacrificed every day. Just scratching an itch kills thousands of skin cells. Luckily for them, they don’t have a mind to think negatively about their hopeless situation (the unlucky ones that is).
