I know some girls think it is creepy.

How about, if I am truly captivated/dumbfounded by her beauty? Is it still creepy if I have to do a second-take?

Re Update: 1) They are interested in her and what is supposed to be a peak turns into a longer stare.
2) They want to remember what she looks like and keep an eye open for her again.
3) They are trying to see if she has a wedding ring on.

Here's a list of reasons a guy is staring at you:
- Watched too many movies/shows and thinks it's going to magically work on girls he likes
- He's zoning out (daydreaming) and this is pretty common
- You pissed him off
- He has some type of disorder like ASPD or autism where looking at someone in the eyes doesn't bother them
- The guy is checking you out
- He is trying to invoke an emotion in you in a less cringy way because he likes you (this can work if you two have actual chemistry and aren't strangers like the first one i said)

Because we like looking at nice things. If a girl is beautiful, it's hard not to look. If you saw a beautiful sunset would you immediately hide your eyes and run away. Hell no.
