He knows I and his mom stayed on friendly terms and still talk occasionally.
Today his mom messaged me that my ex said I was just too good for him. What the hell. I am anything but good.
And then she said he asked her how I am. If he really wanted to know he could ask me directly.
Is he acting like he is interested how I am to look like a good person in his parents eyes?
Because last time I talked with him in January, he told me he is in a new relationship and to forget him because we are never getting back together. So, why pretend as if he cares.

“S, you are different, you have your own light! In the words of H’s father: S has a noble temperament! You are not born to fall into the mortal world! I am happy to know you and would be blessed to have a daughter-in-law like yours.” - That’s the last message I received from his mom, after I wished his son all the best.
S - my name
H - my ex’s name
I feel happy they think so, that’s all, I am no longer willing to worry about him.

The reason he asked his mom is because he does not want to upset the boat and he wants to prevent having direct contact with you as he is in a relationship with someone else.
He can still be concerned about you and have moved on. It just means he's somewhat of a nice guy and wants you to get on with your life.
Most guys would not care what state they left you in at all...
I know he is a nice guy and it hurts me more that we didn’t get married in the end.
And there’s another girl enjoying her time with a man who was my fiance.
For sure, I know that pain when you lost someone very dear to you all to well. It leaves a hole in you for awhile. Time does tend to heal things, but it is something you never forget. It has been my experience that fate has a way of guiding us through life and in your case you haven't met your true partner, yet. While you wait, you need to work on being happy again, maybe visit some friends or relatives and put some space between you and your ex.
Re: Update... His parents hold you in high regard, which obviously says a lot about your character. That is something you can hold your head high about.
I don’t have any relatives here, I came here, half way across the world, to reunite with my then-fiance.
I have friends though.
I do spend time with them and I rarely worry about my ex fiance. It was just I still believed this new girl was a rebound and he would realize the mistake in the end. But now that last hope is crashed as well.
We’ve totally lost each other. I don’t know if fate exists or not, because I always tried to mold my own fate, but if it does, I hope it has something wonderful for me in storage, because my ex and I shared a highly meaningful and a very strong relationship, I hope next one will be even better, or at least the similar but without me ending up betrayed. That break up was a betrayal for me.
I find after a break-up seeing some different scenery helps to clear/heal the mind, and I am sure your friends would be happy to see you.
How is a breakup a betrayal?
And how do I forget that I lost a man who was very caring, sweet, nice, attentive, husband material and plus insanely handsome? How to not feel like I lost?
@spartan55 When we promised each other to get married, to always stand by each other, to never seek romantic happiness outside of our relationship and in always try to work on nurturing our love and relationship, because I feel like all relationships need work and effort. Love doesn’t magically last forever, unless you put effort to make it last - then he asks me to get married with him and later changes his mind and breaks up with me saying that the distance and time faded his feelings and he doesn’t even want to meet me when I go to his country, not to awaken his sleepy feelings - I feel like that’s a betrayal. Because I would never consider breaking up with him, I returned to him as I promised, because I chose him as a person who I’d love for the rest of my life. So, I would never leave him, unless I died. Maybe I am too idealistic but that’s how I saw it.
You said above he betrayed you, which to me suggests he had this other girl on the side? If that is the case, all those traits you mention above aren't that fantastic, if he is willing to step out on you. I would not want to be married to someone, where 5 years down the road they break-up with me because they weren't ready to commit in the first place. Even though it hurts, you may have dodged a bullet and someday you will come to that realization.
He broke up with me and started dating this girl a month or two later.
He might as well started seeing her earlier. I don’t know. He said he felt guilty but didn’t regret and that he fell for this girl, he told me that 3 months after our break up. I don’t know how could he fall with someone else so soon.
He was a different person, when he was with me, he always took care of his family, now he is only taking away from them and doesn’t go to visit them anymore. I guess he was the type of person he acted like because he was by my side, now he acts totally different. He’s still a good person deep down I believe though…
TBH - I think you are going to do soooo much better than him. I've seen it happen before with some of my friends. The shit hits the fan out of the blue, they hurt for awhile, and then someone comes along and changes their life for the better.
You seem like a good honest/faithful person, someone will come along and recognize the good in you.
Thank you, I hope so. 🤍
Hun, you need to do research on narcissism and narcissistic partners. What he’s doing is what’s called “hoovering” and his mom is a “flying monkey” it’s a form of psychological abuse and form of control he is trying to keep on you. Extremely manipulative. Nothing ever comes good from this situation, so either you have to move on or you’re just going to be stuck in a never ending loop of narcissistic abuse.
Flaky, what can I say people switch up all the time, don't take it to heart, move on as well.
Now her mom told me he is still in a relationship with a Vietnamese girl she met 6-7 months ago. I am heartbroken over and over again.
How could I be so easily replaceable? I was his fiance.
His mom thinks maybe they even got married without telling the family.
I feel like I will die of a heartbreak again.
You poor little soul, don't worry that it will heal but no lie, what they are doing just seems evil, cut all them mfs off, every single one of them, from the mom all the way down to their pet dog, this is why I gave you the advice before to just let everything go, including pictures, I don't know if you remember, you are holding on to him weither you believe it or not, every single thing about him has to go, cause these things keep you tied to them in a way, gotta break the chain Fatale, you'll just constantly get reminded of him not being with you, trust me that you'll move on, but not by talking to his fam or by looking at his account or his pictures every once in a while, put him in the past fully.
It’s very hard for me to forget someone who I once loved more than my own self. He was my everything, I trusted him with my closed eyes. I am just shocked. I was shocked when he broke up with me, got in a relationship right away, never met me when I came back, forgot me as if I never existed and on top of that still lives happily with that girl and even got married?
How is that possible? What did I do to deserve this?
Did I mean anything?
I am just shocked and I thought I cried all the tears I had already but this again, it’s agonizing for me.
His mom thinks they got married without telling anyone. How could he get married to someone he met just 6 months ago?
I don’t understand anything. I feel like a worthless loser whose wholehearted loved meant nothing.
He wants to introduce her to the family, his mom refuses to meet her.
I feel bad for you because you gave him everything and he didn't return the favor, but I know it's feels like complete shit rn, but remember that where one door closes, another one opens, your life isn't over, if anything you are closer to finding your real soulmate, not this inconsiderate shit muncher but the person you'll not only put your 100% on but the one that will return it as well, the person you'll actually settle with and have a family and he will be the biggest upgrade, I'm telling you, at the moment these things are terrible but in the long run, they are the best things that can happen to you, the truth is that there's always someone better, and this dude was a roadblock in finding that person, first comes pain, then comes healing and then from there it's uphill, it will also build character, you'll be fine, you'll be happy in the long run, I promise you. 💯
Thank you 💘
